About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring enthusiastic, high-energy Servers at its Virginia Beach location. Servers provide attentive guest service in a lively, fast-paced dining environment, taking and delivering orders and helping guests have a memorable experience. The role also involves learning the menu and venue attractions, supporting teammates, and completing service-station and dining-area duties.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and evenings are required.
Experience with POS systems and strong cash-handling skills.
Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer-service skills.
Ability to remain calm and positive in fast-paced situations.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
Event service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service throughout each guest’s visit.
Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at every table.
Explain food, beverages, and promotions and make recommendations.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and needs.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, including allergies and special requests.
Deliver orders carefully and accurately.
Clear and reset tables and keep the dining area clean and organized.
Learn menu ingredients and allergen details and stay informed about attractions and experiences.
Complete opening and closing duties and keep service stations stocked and organized.
Assist teammates with running food, answering phones, and pre-bussing as needed.
Monitor activity throughout the facility to anticipate guest needs.
Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
