About The Position

As a Banquet Server at The Maxwell Nashville, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Requirements

  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Service Certification, as required by local regulations.

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor.
  • Welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages following established service standards.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverage offerings.
  • Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
  • Assist with replenishing food stations, buffets, and beverage stations as needed.
  • Collaborate with banquet captains, culinary team members, and fellow servers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Breakdown and clean event spaces following functions.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain a positive, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Assist with moving and storing banquet equipment and supplies.
