About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Parkway in Blue Springs, Missouri. The role is scheduled Mondays and Sundays from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and pays $15–$22 per hour. The Server welcomes residents, supports meal preparation and dining-room service, keeps the dining area tidy, and communicates observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and engaging in the dining room to foster social connection.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, rolling silverware, and completing other necessary preparation.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Inform supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents being absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
