About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, Missouri. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with pay ranging from $15 to $22.75 per hour. The Server helps create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, maintaining a clean dining area, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive, energetic attitude and a love of residents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and foster opportunities for them to connect in the dining room.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, and provide an engaging atmosphere.
• Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the dining area clean.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual appetite changes, or are absent from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
