About The Position

The Server welcomes residents and helps create a warm, sociable dining-room environment by greeting and engaging with them. The role includes preparing tables and food-service items, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and keeping the dining area tidy. Servers also observe residents’ eating habits and communicate poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or meal absences to supervisors and Wellness. The position is full-time at Pinnacle Groves in Rogers, Arkansas, with a scheduled shift Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $15 to $19.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, and encourage residents to connect.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a tidy community dining area.
Communicate poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, and residents’ absences from meals to supervisors and Wellness.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
