About The Position

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, part of the A. Marshall Hospitality family of restaurants, is hiring a Server. The Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience and encourage guests to return. The position is at 2 W Aquarium Way, Chattanooga, TN. Hours vary, and weekend availability is needed. Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass the federally mandated E-Verify process.
• Must obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit within 60 days of hire.
• Must communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.
• Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Must have basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to safely lift and frequently maneuver trays of food and beverages weighing up to 20 to 30 pounds.
• Must be self-disciplined, take initiative, have leadership skills, and be outgoing.
• Must have a pleasant, polite manner and a neat, clean appearance.
• Must be able to multitask, solve problems, and handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities.
• Must conduct oneself in a positive and professional manner under all circumstances, including in a high-paced environment.
