About The Position

Scout's Pub in Franklin, Tennessee, is hiring a Server to provide friendly, responsive service and create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The primary objective is to give guests such a positive experience that they want to return. The role requires clear communication with guests and restaurant staff, knowledge of basic dining-room and service procedures, and the ability to handle money and use a point-of-sale system. Hours vary, and weekend availability is needed. Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must pass the federally mandated E-Verify process.
Must obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit within 60 days of hire.
Must communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, dining-room personnel, and guests.
Must have basic knowledge of dining-room and service procedures and functions.
Must have basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
Must be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and beverages, frequently weighing 20 to 30 pounds.
Must be self-disciplined, take initiative, demonstrate leadership skills, and be outgoing.
Must have a pleasant, polite manner and a neat, clean appearance.
Must be able to multitask, solve problems, and handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities.
Must conduct oneself positively and professionally in all circumstances, including in a fast-paced environment.
