About The Position

Porters Neck Village is recruiting a hospitality-focused Server to join its culinary team. The role provides hands-on serving functions within the community and is centered on delivering courteous service and an inviting dining experience. Servers are expected to uphold community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, organization, food quality, presentation, and professionalism while embracing the LCS Hospitality Promises.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Set tables and keep workstations in proper order.
• Take orders and provide service and requested items graciously and courteously.
• Answer questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Greet residents, employees, and guests warmly, by name and with a smile.
• Treat everyone with courteous respect, anticipate needs, listen and respond promptly, and hold oneself and colleagues accountable.
• Help residents, employees, and guests feel important; attend to details and maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance.
