About The Position

Best Western Plus Settlers Point is hiring a part-time Front Desk Attendant in Washington, Utah. The position pays starting at $15.25 per hour, depending on experience, with performance-based raises and commission. Hours are evenings from 3–10 p.m., including at least two weekends from 3–10 p.m. The attendant manages guest reservations and transactions, coordinates with hotel departments, maintains the front desk and lobby, and supports guest service and property operations.

Requirements

Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Organized, with strong attention to detail.
Competent computer and software abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage guest reservations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations made online or over the phone.
Process credit card and cash transactions.
Coordinate effectively with other hotel departments to provide superior service.
Complete daily activity reports and deposit drops.
Keep the front desk and hotel lobby clean and organized, including assigned weekly deep cleaning.
Conduct property and pool checks.
Occasionally ship or receive packages.
Manage incoming guest calls and reservations.
Use sales skills to secure new reservations, including discussing rates and availability.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property, including room types, amenities, and breakfast service.
Identify and resolve guest issues quickly and attentively.
Abide by hotel brand standards for service.
