About The Position

The Server provides quick, efficient, and pleasant food and beverage service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met. The role pays $17 per hour and is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Food safety training is required to obtain and/or maintain any required food-handling or sanitation licenses or certificates.

Requirements

• Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Have basic computer skills for using the POS and payroll systems.
• Be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Be able to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
• Complete food safety training and obtain and/or maintain any required local, state, or county food-handling or sanitation licenses or certificates.

• Previous food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate them to the kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to residents’ and guests’ needs and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Bus and reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
