About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Server at Holiday Inn Estes Park in Estes Park, Colorado. The Server represents the restaurant by providing excellent service and memorable dining experiences. This is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay does not include potential tips. The hotel is near Rocky Mountain National Park and offers outdoor recreation, on-site housing, and discounts on meals, retail, and lodging. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for long periods, potentially including walking up stairs.
Sufficient visual awareness and hearing to take orders and prepare checks.
No high school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, attend to their needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders.
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and follow alcohol service policies and procedures.
Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver guest checks.
Collaborate with other servers, kitchen staff, and bar staff.
Perform assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties, keeping equipment and workspaces clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.
