About The Position

Fogo de Chão is hiring a Server, also referred to as a Waiter or Waitress, to help provide guests with an unforgettable dining experience centered on the Culinary Art of Churrasco. Servers welcome and serve guests, explain menu items and the table-side serving concept, handle beverage and dessert orders, and coordinate special meat requests with the Churrasqueiros. The position has a fixed rate of $2.13 and is also eligible to receive tips; additional information about tips is provided during onboarding or upon request.

Requirements

• Able to transport objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work at a quick pace.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
• Pull each guest’s chair and place the napkin in their lap.
• Present the menu and answer questions about menu items.
• Answer questions about preparation methods and the continuous table-side serving concept.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders.
• Communicate special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
• Complete beginning- or closing-shift duties.
