About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its dining team. The Server helps create a clean and welcoming dining environment and provides friendly, personalized service to residents. The role includes serving appealing meals promptly, assisting residents with meal selections or specific needs, and helping prepare the dining room and food service areas for scheduled meals.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Respond to residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
