About The Position

At Fogo de Chão, Servers help create an unforgettable dining experience while showcasing the Culinary Art of Churrasco. The role centers on welcoming guests, explaining menu items and the table-side serving concept, taking and serving beverage and dessert orders, and coordinating guest requests with the Churrasqueiros and Cashiers. Servers also support fellow Servers and complete beginning- or closing-shift duties.

Requirements

• Must be able to transport objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
• Pull each guest’s chair and lay the napkin in their lap.
• Present the menu and answer questions about menu items.
• Answer questions about preparation methods and the continuous table-side serving concept.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders.
• Communicate special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
• Complete beginning- or closing-shift duties.
