About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Server at Vitalia Stow in Stow, Ohio. The position pays $15 to $21.25 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Server helps create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, keeping dining areas clean, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and a desire to work with residents.
Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present and engaged in the dining room.
Mingle with and entertain residents and foster an environment where they can connect.
Prepare tables and salads for service and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
