Server - AM | In Room Dining
About The Position
The Server is responsible for delivering food orders to guest rooms and providing exceptional service that creates memorable experiences for guests enjoying the food and beverage experience. The role requires knowledge of service times, the menu, and specials; preparation, delivery, and service of orders; and completion of assigned side duties. Servers are responsible for checks, tray and table pickup, VIP amenity presentation, hospitality setup, and minimizing breakage. They consult with a supervisor about food pickup difficulties and attend designated staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications, or obtain them upon hire.
- Clearly and pleasantly communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with guests, members, management, and coworkers, in person and by telephone.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior serving and cash-handling experience.
- MICROS experience.
Responsibilities
