About The Position

Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a friendly, motivated part-time Room Service/In Room Dining Server to deliver menu items and guest amenities directly to guest rooms in a professional and timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction. The role includes learning menu items and garnishes, preparing trays, retrieving trays and carts, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the Room Service area. The position is hourly and union, with evening availability and weekend and holiday availability required. The pay rate is $7.46 per hour.

Requirements

Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards; no previous experience is required.
In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
Familiarity with menu items and accompaniments, and ability to memorize and promote menu items effectively.
Proficient in English for customer communication and understanding product instructions.
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of room service operations, staffing, and guest relations.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills to maintain service standards.
Evening availability and availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Learn menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments for plate setup.
Prepare trays and deliver them to guest rooms.
Maintain guest satisfaction by following Marriott service standards.
Check floors to ensure all trays and carts are retrieved.
Prepare and deliver guest amenities.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the Room Service area and maintain personal hygiene.
Perform other duties as assigned.
