About The Position

The Server at Hershey Country Club professionally and courteously serves food and beverages to guests during banquets, à la carte service, and tented beverage-venue events. The position also maintains neat and orderly dining rooms and guest-service areas. This is a part-time, union position; the work schedule is based on union seniority and may include evening and weekend hours. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule between 5 AM and 2 AM.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
At least 6 months of related, verifiable work experience as a server is required.
Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and staff.
Must present a clean and appropriate image.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to seniority, between 5 AM and 2 AM.
Must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely include evening and weekend hours.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner.

Responsibilities

Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Serve food and beverages to guests.
Pour coffee and water for guests when required.
Ensure condiments are sufficiently supplied on guest tables before guests are seated.
Restock guest dining and service areas.
Clean and reset tables.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets.
Forward guest concerns to the applicable wait staff member or supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain neat and orderly dining rooms and guest-service areas.
