About The Position

Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a friendly, dependable, service-oriented Server for its Assisted Living Dining Services team. The role provides dining service to residents and guests, helping make meals welcoming and enjoyable while supporting residents’ preferences and dietary requirements.

This is a part-time position with short evening shifts, scheduled from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The ongoing schedule requires availability every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and three weekdays each week. The server works with residents, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to provide timely, attentive service and maintain clean, safe dining areas.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or senior living dining experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional dining service to residents and guests.
• Take meal orders and accurately serve food and beverages according to residents’ preferences and dietary requirements.
• Prepare dining areas before meals, including setting tables and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
• Assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions or special requests.
• Clear tables, clean dining areas, and help reset the dining room after meal service.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
• Build positive relationships with residents while maintaining a respectful, courteous, and professional attitude.
