About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join its team. The role supports the company’s service culture by providing hospitable, respectful, and authentic service to guests and team members. The position is identified as a weekend PM role and requires flexibility to work hours and shifts as needed. The Server takes and accurately records food orders, monitors food delivery and presentation, maintains station setup and cleanliness, follows liquor regulations, and handles guest checks and payments. The role also includes assisting with bussing tables and performing other assigned duties. Schulte Hospitality Group is a division of Schulte Companies, a hospitality management company operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and three countries. Its portfolio includes properties and restaurants associated with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and independent brands.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Be a team player.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills to make change and give refunds.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct recipients and are properly prepared and presented, and that buffets are appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Comply with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Know menu items, preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
