About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Server to deliver hospitality in a team-focused environment. The role involves taking guest orders, coordinating food delivery and presentation, maintaining a clean and properly set station, and processing guest checks and payments. Servers must know menu items and service procedures, follow liquor regulations, and provide a positive experience for guests and team members. The position requires at least one year of hotel or restaurant serving experience and a high school education. Flexible hours and shifts may be required.

Requirements

• High school education; post-high-school education is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and giving refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and that the buffet is appealing.
• Check the station before, during, and after the shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcohol, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
• Learn and remain familiar with menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
