About The Position

The Server is responsible for providing drink service in the River Bar and Grill outlet while ensuring guests are served and all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. The position reports to the Beverage Shift Manager. Schedule and hours may vary based on business demands, holidays, and weekends. The pay is $6.50 hourly plus tips, and weekly earned wage access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Can obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
• Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Have 1–3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain special promotions.
• Take drink orders and recite available call and premium brands as requested; memorize available drinks.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale system to notify the bartender.
• Replenish beverages as requested and check back with guests about their satisfaction.
• Deliver beverages to patrons and ensure payment.
• Check and maintain proper service-station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, including removing empty glasses and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Check identification of individuals ordering alcoholic beverages to confirm they meet age requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
