About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a part-time server for Yankee Hill Village, a community in Lincoln, Nebraska, with independent living, assisted living, and memory support residences. The server works independently as a lead in daytime dining room services and helps provide a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including holidays. The position pays up to $18.31 per hour, with straight pay and no tips; compensation is based on experience, certifications, skills, and education. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A background check and drug screen are required before hire.

Requirements

• At least one year of dining room serving experience above the level of fast-food service.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables for meals, refill containers, and clear dishes.
• Handle food safely and attend to residents’ needs.
• Take phone orders.
• Ensure other servers complete their tasks in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Help facilitate a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.
