About The Position

The Server at Fork Lore in the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park provides restaurant service in accordance with Biltmore Farms’ standards. The role guides guests through their restaurant experience, from greeting and seating to serving, and helps create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Servers learn the menu, ingredients, presentation, and food-service standards, and train in both restaurant and banquet-style service. The position is part-time and scheduled for PM shifts on Wednesday and Saturday, with availability for holidays required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including the ability to lift and carry trays.
Working knowledge of food and wine.
Flexibility and willingness to work wherever needed.
Ability to work PM shifts and holidays.
Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. on a tray or through arm service where applicable.
Able to stand for prolonged periods and walk, stoop, and bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience in the food service industry.
At least one year of experience in a hotel setting.

Anticipate guest needs, be proactive, and resolve issues quickly.
