About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson, also referred to as a Porter/Houseperson, works alongside the Housekeeping team to maintain a clean facility at Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. The role involves responding to guest cleanliness concerns, cleaning guest and service areas, restocking supplies, coordinating repairs with Maintenance, and assisting Housekeepers and the Front Desk with guest requests and deliveries. Candidates should be strong team players with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. At least one year of hotel housekeeping experience is a plus. No formal education is required; a high school diploma or equivalent and previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience are preferred. Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards is also a plus. The position requires physical housekeeping tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 pounds; standing and walking for extended periods; and frequently bending, stooping, and reaching. Employees must be able to work with cleaning products. After a written offer, the hiring process includes criminal history disclosure and screening. The employer also participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Housekeeping team to maintain a clean facility.
Handle guest cleanliness concerns and respond to resolve them.
Clean corridors, guest areas, parking lots, and service areas.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team regarding repairs.
Stock supplies.
Assist Housekeepers and the Front Desk with guest requests and deliveries.
Clean and tidy restrooms.
