About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant at Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park, you will handle hotel laundry, including linens from guest rooms, restaurant and banquet areas, towels, uniforms, bedspreads, and blankets. You will keep the laundry area clean and organized, assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed, and treat each hotel guest with warm hospitality. The position requires availability for the AM shift, flexible availability, and work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be available to work the AM shift, have flexible availability, and work weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Able to work regularly with cleaning products and in a hot environment at various times throughout the year.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, and fold linens from guest rooms, restaurant areas, and banquet areas.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized.
• Assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed.
• Handle laundry for the hotel, including towels, uniforms, bedspreads, and blankets.
• Treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home.
