About The Position

The Laundry Attendant handles hotel laundry for guest rooms, the restaurant, and banquet areas, including towels, uniforms, bedspreads, and blankets. The role also keeps the laundry area clean and organized, supports Room Attendants and Porters as needed, and treats each hotel guest with care. The position requires availability for the AM shift, flexible availability, and work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be available to work the AM shift, have flexible availability, and work weekends and holidays.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to work regularly with cleaning products.
Must be able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
At least one year of experience in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, and fold linens from guest rooms, the restaurant, and banquet areas.
Keep the laundry area clean and organized.
Assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed.
Handle laundry for the hotel, including towels, uniforms, bedspreads, and blankets.
Treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home.
