About The Position

Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time and part-time Servers to join its team at [UNIT] in [CITY AND STATE]. The Server helps create a positive guest dining experience through friendly character and excellent service. This is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay does not include any potentially tipped earnings.

Requirements

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• No high school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, attend to their needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly while following alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver guest checks.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Perform assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, and ensure equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.
