About The Position

Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time and part-time Servers to join its team at [UNIT] in [CITY AND STATE]. Servers help create a positive guest dining experience by providing friendly, attentive service. This is a tipped position. The listed hourly minimum pay is $4.25 and does not include potentially tipped earnings.

Requirements

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, potentially including walking up stairs.
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, attend to their needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly while following alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver guest checks.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen staff, and bar staff.
• Perform assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties; ensure equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.
