About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join its team. Requirements

Minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Minimum high school education; post-high-school education is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills needed to make change and give refunds.
Ability to multitask.
Team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct recipients and are properly prepared and presented; ensure the buffet is appealing when applicable.
Check the station before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations concerning service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Become familiar with menu items, preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
