About The Position

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and friendly manner, following established brand and hotel guest-service and sustainability standards. The role supports guest satisfaction by taking and entering orders, serving food, maintaining dining areas and service stations, processing guest checks, and assisting with other food-and-beverage functions as needed. The stated growth path includes Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server/Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager.

Requirements

Previous food-and-beverage experience or equivalent training is required.
Knowledge of POS systems.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
TIPS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-service system.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Set and clear tables in dining areas.
Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.
Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly.
Prepare guest checks and, when appropriate, complete payment transactions.
Perform other food-and-beverage functions, such as bartending and bussing, during staffing shortages or peak periods.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to increase departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
