About The Position

We are looking for Servers to join our team at Chances Castlegar. We are currently hiring 1 year-round Server and 3 seasonal Servers, with the seasonal positions starting in September. Whether you're looking for a long-term opportunity or seasonal work, we'd love to hear from you! As a Server, you'll provide friendly, efficient service while creating a great experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Friendly and professional customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Serving It Right certificate.
• Ability to successfully complete the required gaming-related background check.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Previous serving or customer service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take guest food and beverage orders and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Enter orders and transactions accurately into our point-of-sale system (Barnett).
• Ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately.
• Present bills and process guest payments.
• Clear tables, remove glassware, and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area.
• Follow all responsible service, gaming, and company policies and procedures.
