About The Position

Keep Chances Salmon Arm clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests. We're looking for a dependable Janitor to join our full-time team at Chances Salmon Arm. If you take pride in a job well done, like staying active throughout your shift, and are comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. As a key member of our team, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and employees. Your work happens behind the scenes, but it makes a big difference to the guest experience.

Requirements

• Is comfortable being on their feet and doing physical work throughout the shift

• Is professional and respectful when working around guests and team members
• Is 19 years of age or older
• Is eligible to obtain a criminal record clearance through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)

Responsibilities

• Keep guest areas, staff areas, and common spaces clean, organized, and presentable
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize gaming equipment and high-touch surfaces
• Keep washrooms clean, sanitized, stocked, and ready for guests
• Empty garbage and recycling and maintain designated waste areas
• Monitor the facility throughout your shift and take care of cleaning needs as they arise
• Follow established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Follow applicable BCLC, WHMIS, and WorkSafe requirements
• Work with the team to keep the property looking its best
• Assist with other cleaning and operational duties as needed
