About The Position
The Server is responsible for delivering food orders to guest rooms and providing exceptional service to create memorable food and beverage experiences for guests. The role includes preparing, delivering, and servicing orders; presenting VIP amenities; setting up hospitality items; and completing assigned side duties.
Requirements
- Have an unexpired Food Handler certification and TABC certification, or obtain them upon hire.
- Clearly and pleasantly communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with guests, members, management, and coworkers, in person and by telephone.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior serving and cash handling experience.
- MICROS experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of service times, the menu, and specials.
- Prepare, deliver, and service guest orders.
- Ask guests whether they need additional service.
- Be responsible for each check.
- Pick up tables and trays.
- Set up, deliver, and present VIP amenities.
- Complete hospitality set-up.
- Consult with a supervisor about any difficulty with food pick-up.
- Complete assigned side duties.
- Minimize breakage.
- Attend designated staff meetings and training sessions.
