About The Position

North Stone Kitchen is hiring a part-time Server to serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to Kahler Hospitality Group’s high standards of quality. The position works in an events and restaurant environment, where moderate to loud noise may occur during events. Compensation is $11.91 per hour plus gratuity.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and serviceware.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain any government-required licenses or certificates.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality or serving experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest and client requests.
• Set tables as instructed by the Food and Beverage Manager, including linens, serviceware, and glassware.
• Attend pre-shift meetings before opening to discuss specials, groups, projects, and guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests quickly and courteously.
• Serve food and beverages according to the stated service standards.
• Bus dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal.
• Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Complete assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking supplies.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
