About The Position

The Restaurant Server provides safe and efficient service while delivering excellent, proactive customer care. The role aims to make guests feel good about their dining experience and encourage loyalty by anticipating needs and engaging with guests before they have to ask. Servers welcome guests, assist with menu choices, take and enter orders, serve food and beverages, maintain a clean dining environment, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, communicate dietary needs and special requests, relay feedback to management, and process payments. The position pays $13.00–$14.00 per hour plus tips. Server experience is preferred, and employees serving alcohol must be of legal age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus, specials, and promotions.
• Help guests select menu items, offer recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients, preparation, and dietary restrictions.
• Take orders accurately and enter them promptly into the POS system, clearly communicating modifications and special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring appropriate portioning, presentation, and temperature.
• Check tableware, glassware, and utensils for cleanliness and replace or replenish items as needed.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide proactive assistance and refills during meals.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff so food and beverages are prepared and served on time.
• Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies to the kitchen so meals can be prepared accordingly.
• Share guest feedback, comments, and concerns with management to support prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and securely, handle cash and credit card transactions, and present bills and receipts promptly.
