About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is hiring Servers for its restaurant operations. Servers provide welcoming, attentive service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, maintain detailed knowledge of menu items and specials, accurately enter orders in the point-of-sale system, and communicate dietary needs and special requests to kitchen staff. They make personalized recommendations and promote menu items while addressing guest concerns professionally and helping maintain clean, well-stocked dining and service areas. Positions may be in one of several resort venues: Lah De Dah Restaurant, an open-air beachfront sports bar; License to Chill Restaurant, an open-air venue on the sunset terrace serving from breakfast through late night; 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar, a poolside bar inside the Fins Up! Beach Club; or JWB Grill, a polished but relaxed restaurant on the second floor with Gulf views. The work environment may be outdoors and not climate-controlled, and some assignments involve using stairs to reach kitchens or move between floors. TPI Hospitality operates and owns the resort. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills, including patience and a friendly demeanor.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment, including heat, sun, cold, and rain.
Willingness to work flexible schedules that include nights and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Ability to walk on sand, concrete, and pavers.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of experience as a server.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression.
Learn menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system in a timely manner.
Suggest menu items and upsell beverages, appetizers, or desserts based on guest interests, dietary restrictions, and promotions.
Communicate food allergies, dietary preferences, and special requests to kitchen staff.
Provide attentive service during meals, including refilling beverages, clearing plates, anticipating needs, and checking guest satisfaction.
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, resolving them or escalating them to management as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and side-work zones.
Assist with opening and closing duties, restock supplies, polish glassware and silverware, and support seamless shift transitions.
Provide service consistent with resort standards and foster a positive dining atmosphere.
