About The Position

Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking a Public Space Attendant to help maintain the resort’s cleanliness and positive image. The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces, offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and other designated areas, and for supporting the housekeeping department as needed. The attendant also maintains janitorial equipment, follows health and safety procedures, coordinates with other staff, and promptly reports maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to work in the USA and provide documentation to prove it.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work well with co-workers and leaders.
Ability to walk and stand for long hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and quality standards in public spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and other designated areas.
Regularly empty and clean ashtrays and trash cans.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms in assigned areas, following procedures for handling biohazards.
Assist the housekeeping department as necessary.
Keep janitorial equipment clean, properly maintained, and free of marks.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Coordinate cleaning efforts with staff members and other departments to complete tasks on time.
Promptly communicate maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
