BEACH OPERATIONS ATTENDANT- Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach
About The Position
Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach, operated and owned by TPI Hospitality, is hiring a Beach Operations Attendant to support the guest experience at Beach Operations. This hands-on, outdoor role involves setting up and breaking down beach equipment and assisting guests with rentals and transactions. The position suits someone who enjoys active work in hot conditions and creating positive guest experiences by the water. The attendant supports daily beach operations by providing guest service, handling rental and service transactions, serving food and beverages on the beach, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and keeping the beach and equipment clean, safe, organized, and ready for use. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, along with the ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating and promoting recreational activities.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down beach operations equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, and recreational amenities.
- Handle transactions and process payments, ensuring accurate billing for rentals and services.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and provide information about beach amenities, safety guidelines, and resort offerings.
- Provide food and beverage service to guests on the beach.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to support smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized beach environment and proactively address hazards or guest concerns.
- Store, secure, and maintain equipment for daily use.
- Work outdoors in a hot, fast-paced environment while remaining guest-focused and professional.
- Support additional tasks to ensure a seamless guest experience and efficient beach operations.
