About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking a detail-oriented, fast-working Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team. The role focuses on cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms promptly and to established standards, while helping maintain the resort’s cleanliness and provide a positive guest experience. Previous experience is a plus but is not required. The position requires weekend work and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Load and organize the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and amenities, and keep it clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
Clean and service assigned rooms to established standards, including changing linens, making beds, cleaning and organizing bathrooms, picking up trash, vacuuming floors, and refreshing guest amenities.
Anticipate guests’ needs and respond to requests promptly and courteously.
Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors about concerns or special requests.
Report damage or mechanical issues in the resort and guest rooms to maintenance or management.
Use personal protective equipment and follow safety practices, protocols, and procedures.
Follow lost-and-found procedures to document and return items in accordance with company policies.
Perform other tasks assigned by management to support resort operations and cleanliness.
