About The Position

As a Server at BRU Burger Bar, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. You contribute to smooth restaurant operations through teamwork, attention to guest needs, and promotion of menu offerings. Training is provided. Requirements

Previous serving experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift trays of food and beverages and to carry trays for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requests.
Take food and beverage orders accurately, enter them into the restaurant POS system, and check them before submitting to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards, ensuring meals have appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide additional items as requested.
Set up and clean tables before and after guest use; maintain and stock the dining area with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with general restaurant cleanliness, including dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and requests to appropriate team members.
Promote daily specials, desserts, and beverages, and suggest additional items or upgrades.
Follow health and safety guidelines, food safety regulations, company policies, and procedures for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
