About The Position

Avvio Millbury is seeking a Server to provide hospitality and meal service to guests in the dining area. The role involves interacting with guests, taking orders, and serving meals. Servers present menu options and suggestions, enter orders into the POS system, relay orders to the kitchen, serve courses, respond to additional guest requests, total bills, and accept payments. Team members are expected to maintain composure and a hospitable manner with guests and coworkers while contributing to a collaborative workplace.

Requirements

Must hold Alcohol Safety Certification.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and move 25–50 pounds.
Must be collaborative, use a team approach to creating an equitable workplace, and maintain respectful working relationships.
Must have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 2 years of previous fine dining server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
Record orders in the POS system.
Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses from the kitchen or service bars.
Observe diners and respond to additional requests.
Total bills and accept payments.
Maintain composure and a hospitable manner with guests and other staff.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and support respectful working relationships.
