About The Position

The Server works on the Food & Beverage team at the Courtyard by Marriott Boise West/Meridian, providing service to meeting attendees and supporting banquet events. The role includes preparing and maintaining event spaces, assisting with buffet and event setup and breakdown, and completing preparation and side work so service can remain focused during events. The Server keeps meeting rooms and storage areas clean and well-maintained and follows applicable food-health requirements and brand standards. A friendly, welcoming personality and the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business levels are expected.

Requirements

• Previous hotel banquet food and beverage experience.
• Food handler and liquor certifications as required by law or brand standards.
• Welcoming and friendly personality.
• Ability to work a flexible and varied schedule as dictated by business levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to meeting attendees.
• Understand banquet event orders and assist with setup and breakdown of food buffets and events as needed.
• Complete preparation and side work to enable focused service during events.

• Comply with state and local food-health requirements and brand standards.
