About The Position

The Server provides friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests and helps create a positive dining experience while following food safety and service standards. The role includes taking and delivering orders, answering menu questions, maintaining service areas, and coordinating with kitchen and service team members. Servers also follow venue policies and perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Required food-handler and alcohol-service certifications, where applicable.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to carry trays and lift or move items as required by the role.
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous serving experience; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and courteously, explain menu items, and make recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Serve orders efficiently and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas.
Follow food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and cash-handling procedures.
Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to ensure accurate, timely service.
Process payments accurately and thank guests for their business.
Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
Follow venue policies and complete other related duties as needed.
