About The Position

The Food Runner supports the service team by delivering food accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests. The role helps maintain smooth service, ensures orders meet presentation standards, and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and a guest-focused approach.
Required food-handler certification, where applicable.

Previous food-service experience; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders promptly to the correct tables or service areas.
Verify items against order tickets and check presentation before delivery.
Communicate with kitchen staff and servers about order status, special requests, and missing items.
Assist servers with guest requests and follow up as needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and stocked service stations.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures.
Clear dishes and help reset tables when needed.
Respond courteously to guest questions and direct concerns to a server or supervisor.
Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties.
Perform other related duties as needed.
