About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and maintaining the assigned bar area, including setup, cleanliness, and breakdown. The role requires knowledge of recipes, accurate product transactions, and handling cash and credit card payments. Bartenders create a fun, friendly, and exciting experience for members while following Legends Hospitality and TABC standards for responsible alcohol service. The position also involves menu planning and development and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume bar.
Current T.A.B.C. certification.
Fluency in English.
Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes and the ability to create and develop unique cocktails.
Understanding of cocktail balance and flavor profiles.
Knowledge of spirits, including their production processes.
Knowledge of beer types, brewing processes, and proper serving techniques.
Knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and proper wine service.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to relate to people at all levels and build productive relationships.
Ability to communicate honestly and act truthfully.
Ability to adapt to changing trends and circumstances and learn from past mistakes.
Ability to manage people and resources, multitask, and maintain order.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to lift 30 pounds without aid.
Ability to stand for an extended period without aid and to stand or walk for varying lengths of time.
Availability to work an irregular schedule and extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
