About The Position

The Server at Hop City in Hilton Portland Downtown provides food and beverage service in a high-volume restaurant while creating memorable guest experiences. The role involves welcoming guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude, learning menu items and specials, taking and entering orders, and delivering completed orders promptly. The Server also keeps the food service station stocked, clean, and organized and follows applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. The schedule may vary and can include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and look for ways to make each meal experience special.
• Learn menu items, promotions, and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly.
• Keep the food service station stocked, clean, and organized.
