About The Position

The Server / Culinary Assistant is responsible for dining room and to-go meal service for residents at The Sanctuary of St. Cloud, an affordable senior living community with 101 Assisted Living and 36 Memory Care apartments. The role helps provide a warm, friendly dining experience and services that meet residents’ individual needs. The position serves meals, maintains a clean and inviting dining area, follows service and sanitation procedures, and supports positive resident relations and satisfaction. It also includes learning the EMenu System and restaurant-style service, and ensuring dishes are washed, sanitized, and put away before the end of the shift.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of experience.

High school diploma.
1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

Serve meals and provide to-go meal service to residents.
Follow the meal-serving schedule and procedures.
Offer residents meal choices and meet their specific dietary needs.
Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follow dining room cleaning schedules and procedures.
Set up the dining room according to proper procedures.
Follow proper workflow to stay on task.
Learn and become proficient with the EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
Wash, sanitize, and put away all dishes, including flatware and drinkware, before the end of the shift.
Welcome residents and initiate conversation.
Accommodate resident requests, such as food substitutions or seating changes.
Listen to complaints and respond appropriately; refer issues to the Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
