Mara Server Assistant (Part-Time)

About The Position

The Server Assistant supports food servers by serving food, setting up and clearing china, glassware, and silverware, and responding to guest needs and requests. The role is with Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis and involves stocking and polishing service items, greeting guests, serving and explaining food and beverages, preparing condiments and garnishes, transporting food from the kitchen, clearing tables, and setting up or breaking down tables, buffets, and food stations. Team members are expected to follow Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct and work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Valid work authorization for the U.S.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of food service or related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock linen, china, silverware, and glassware for service, ensuring items are polished and in good condition.
Greet guests professionally and serve food and beverages while explaining their contents.
Anticipate guest needs and provide service before requests are necessary.
Prepare condiments and garnishes.
Retrieve food from the kitchen using a tray and transport it safely to guests.
Assist with guest service and remove items from guests’ tables.
Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
