About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a Server Assistant to assist food servers with serving food, setting up and clearing china, glassware, and silverware, and attending to guest needs and requests. The role includes preparing service items and food stations, greeting guests, serving food and beverages, and helping ensure guests receive attentive, professional service.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of food service or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen, china, silverware, and glassware for service, ensuring items are polished and in good condition.
• Greet guests professionally and serve beverage and food items, explaining their contents.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide service before requests are necessary.
• Prepare condiments and garnishes.
• Retrieve food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transport it to guests.
• Remove items from guests’ tables.
• Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
